Dedicated to Ad Linkels. "I was writing this track when I received the sad news that Ad Linkels, a Dutch Musicologist, had passed away unexpectedly. Ad introduced himself to me in Amsterdam in 1997 after traveling a great distance by train to see the first ever Te Vaka show in Europe. A passionate supporter of Pacific music and dance, he and his wife Lucia, have contributed greatly to the promotion of the Pacific throughout Europe with their numerous trips to the Islands to record and document the traditional music and dance of Polynesia."
